UK Challenger Hop are a Granddaughter of Northern Brewer, lineage also includes Northdown and Target. UK Challengers Are a good Dual Purpose Hop That Works Great For Bittering And For Finishing.  Typically Used In English Style Ales, including Porters, Stouts, ESBs and Brown Ales. Released In 1968, A Result Of Wye’s Efforts To Combine Higher Level Alpha Acids With Good Aroma. Aroma is Mild To Moderate, Quite Spicy.

Alpha Acid 6.5 – 8.5%
Beta Acid 4 – 4.5%
Cohumulone 20 – 25%
